C2 has been awarded a Gold Medal by Global Sustainability Ratings Agency, EcoVadis and is in the top 5% of companies assessed globally.

EcoVadis assesses how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability into its business and management systems. It scores an organisation’s performance across the environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

C2 scored over 70% and above in all areas including 80% for the Environment.

C2events Founder and Executive Director, Cheryl Clarke said, ‘We are thrilled to have achieved Gold and to be in the top 5% worldwide especially when you consider 130,000 organisations across 80 countries have been tested.’

Commenting Mark Saxby, Executive Director, said, ‘This is a very important award as sustainability is so important to us. EcoVadis is recognised by our clients around the world.’

Commenting on the Medal, Katie Bennett, Business Support Manager said, ‘This is the third time we have been accredited. The submission process helps ensure we are making ongoing improvements that we incorporate into the business.’  We are increasingly assessing our suppliers to make sure they have the same values for sustainability and approach to the environment.’
