C2 has been awarded a Silver Medal by Global Sustainability Ratings Agency, EcoVadis and achieved a score of 90% for the environment.

The EcoVadis sustainability assessment methodology is at the heart of their Ratings and Scorecards and is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into its business and management system.

Commenting on the announcement Mark Saxby, Executive Director, said, ‘We believe this is very important award. We achieved some excellent category scores including 90% for Environment.’

As part of this and its growing emphasis on sustainability, C2 has issued C2 a Greener Planet, a guide for planning sustainable meetings & events.

C2events Founder and Executive Director, Cheryl Clarke said, ‘We were thrilled to score 90% for the environment as this is something we are really passionate about as a business.’

Commenting on the Award, Katie Bennett, Business Support Manager said, ‘The whole submission exercise resulted in several process improvements that we have incorporated into the business.’  We are increasingly working with more suppliers who also have the same values for sustainability to minimise the environmental impact of our clients’ events.’
